Loading Flyover imagery into AutoCAD

So I just recently aquired a skill, loading flyover imagery into AutoCAD. The steps are as follows:

  1. Select Load Image from one of the options in the top ribbon
  2. Select Raster Image Reference
  3. Choose the refernce file in your flyover image destination folder
    1. choose the *.tif file (make sure the *.tfw world file, geographic location)
  4. Specify on-screen
  5. Select somewhere on the screen
  6. Type “appload” (only have to run once if you’re loading multiple flyover tiles).
  7. Browse to the folder that conains the Geographic Refencing Imaging Bundle “georefimg”
    1. *.vlx extension – this is an AutoCAD script
  8. type “georefimg”
  9. Select the image.

The GeoRefImg translates the picture to the correct coordinate system and loads it successfully.

I’ll post a screencast video of it later.
